“OUR club, our town” has been adopted as the new Hinckley United Supporters club motto. Set up at the end of the 2008/09 season, the supporters club is owned and run by YOU, the members.
Membership for the 2009/10 season has been set at £5, with members receiving a number of benefits.
New Secretary Stewart Dee said: “The supporters club is your way of getting involved and helping the football club to progress. It is still early days, but we are starting to make things happen and the committee is determined to build the momentum into next season.
“As the motto says, it’s our club and our town and we want to get that message out to the people of Hinckley and show them that Hinckley United is part of the community.”
Agendas and minutes of Supporters Club meetings are now being posted on the Hinckley United independent website www.hinckleyunitedfc.co.uk and will also be posted in the club shop and in the main bar.
