Big thankyou

HINCKLEY United's first charity fun run proved to be a big success and another is already in the pipeline for next season.

Paul Moss of major club sponsor Holiday Lounge co-organised the event on Saturday against Harrogate Town for Children with Leukaemia.


DANNY Newton is the Hinckley United hero after his goal sent the club back into the play-off places with one fixture to play.

The 19 year-old struck the winning goal in the 90th minute after Harrogate Town had pegged the score back to 2-2.


AGM again

THE HINCKLEY United AGM will reconvene on Thursday April 22nd at 7pm in the Starlight Suite.

The meeting is open to all shareholders.



The final countdown

HINCKLEY United take on Harrogate Town at the Greene King Stadium tomorrow in their final home league game in a must win match to keep their play-off dream alive. (3pm)

HINCKLEY United play-off hopes have took a dent but are still alive after a goalless draw with Eastwood Town at the Greene King Stadium.

Dean Thomas' side are left with the task of having to beat already relegated Harrogate Town on Saturday and do the same at third placed Alfreton Town in nine days time.
