THE 2010/11 Blue Square football season will be kicking off a week later on Saturday August 14th 2010.

The season will end a week later this year with the final league matches on Saturday April 30th.


HINCKLEY United are offering discounts on holidays, wedding and party rooms, pitch hire, a day at the races, match day food and even a new carpet if you sign up for a season ticket!

The offer is part of the club's initiative to try and attract new supporters to the Greene King Stadium which will be boosted by FREE admission to all under 16s for the 2010/11 Blue Square North campaign.


Season tickets

SEASON ticket prices will be launched this week in the press and on the official club website.

Season ends

HINCKLEY United were beaten 3-0 by Barwell in the Rollaston Charity Cup final at Holmes Park.

The game marks the end of the Hinckley United first team's 2010/11 season.


Semi final

HINCKLEY United are just two wins away from silverware when they face Oadby Town in the Rollaston Cup at the Greene King Stadium on Thursday evening. (7.30pm)

Chris Mackenzie, Connor Franklin, Dan Dillon, Jack Roberts and Matt West will all play in the game along with a number of squad players who will face Oadby Town.


Presentation night

HINCKLEY United's club presentation night will take place on Saturday May 8th at the football ground.

The event will take place in the TF Bell Suite and is open to all supporters and sponsors. The players, management and board will be in attendance. The night will start at 7.30pm.


Tommo's tribute

HINCKLEY United manager Dean Thomas has paid tribute to his players and backroom staff after the Blue Square North season came to a close and the play-off dream was finally ended.

A 3-2 defeat away at Alfreton Town brought the curtain down on a roller coaster campaign which ended in a highly respectable seventh place.



First friendly

COVENTRY City will visit the Greene King Stadium for a pre-season friendly on Saturday July 17th.

This will be the club's first pre-season game and kick off will be 3pm.


Board changes

HINCKLEY United Football Club have appointed four new directors who were voted onto the board at the Annual General Meeting.

Paul Moss, Kevin Thompson, Peter Savage and Ku Akeredolu are all shareholders and were nominated and voted onto the board. Kevin Downes and Tony Dyer were re-elected while Phil Taylor and Glenn Farmer tendered their resignations.
