HINCKLEY United are looking to attract some new supporters next Monday night against Solihull Moors.

In a bid to show the public what non-league football and Hinckley United in particular is all about, any adult who has a season ticket from a Premiership, Championship or Football League club will be admitted for just £5.

In addition, anyone who has a programme from this week's game against Southport and brings it to the turnstile will also be admitted for a fiver!

General Manager Dave Riche said: "We were going to do this on New Year's Day against Solihull and the game was postponed so we'll carry it through to next Monday night's fixture instead.

 "We always get a few floating fans from Leicester City and Coventry City when they are away but we want to see how many will come along if we offer an incentive and also look to local supporters of teams further afield.

"Hopefully our own supporters will see what we are trying to do and this about the long term rather than the short term vision.

"Football is getting very expensive at a higher level and if this picks us up some more supporters who have never been to the ground, then it will be a worthwhile exercise."

To clarify: anyone with a Premiership, Championship or Football League season ticket from the 2009/10 season or a Hinckley v Southport programme will be admitted at £5 for adult/concession, £3 under 16 and under 12s are free. Ticket must be shown at the turnstile for offer to be valid.
