Southport sunk

HINCKLEY United stunned title chasing Southport at the Greene King Stadium after putting four goals past them in a 4-1 defeat.

The Knitters took the lead through Lee Collins and Dan Dillon in the first half only for Steve Daly to equalise after half time.

But goals from Andy Gooding and a penalty from Chucki Eribenne – his first league goal of the season - sealed the win for Dean Thomas’ side. Southport were down to ten men after Matty McGinn's foul in the box which led to Eribenne's penalty.
