Gaffer looks ahead

HINCKLEY United manager Dean Thomas is ready to battle with the best this Saturday at the Greene King Stadium when Fleetwood Town are the visitors. (3pm)
The league leaders have suffered a blip in form in recent weeks and the Knitters boss has his players fired up and ready for action.
"We've had a good season against the top sides in the leagues and that is what the table says at the minute that Fleetwood are the best side currently in the league," said Thomas (pictured.)
"They have spent heavily and got a lot of good players. At their place for 45 minutes we gave them a good game but the goal before half time killed them and we never gave them a game in the second half.
"We have saved our best performances for the better teams. Their manager Micky Mellon is doing a good job. The club have massive ambitions for promotion and are investing in it.
"Obviously at the minute, Fleetwood have a big battle on their hands with Southport and they have lost a few games recently and they won't be as confident as the last time as we played them and this time it is on our own patch so we need to capitalise on that."
The bar will be open to all from 12 noon with the FA Cup game between Portsmouth v Bimringham City live on the big screen. After the game stay on and watch the Fulham v Spurs FA Cup game or Wolves v Manchester United on ESPN. Beer prices start at £2.40 a pint.
Admission to the match is £9 for adults, £6 for concessions including students with a valid ID and £3 for under 16s with free admission to under 12s. Transfer to the main stand is £1 with matchday programmes available at £2.
Limited VIP tickets to the game are still available to both sets of supporters featuring a three course meal, matchday programme and admission to the match for £25. To book these places which must be finalised by Thursday at 5pm, please call Dave Riche on 07809 113088.
