First team action

DUE to the uncertainty over Saturday's visit to Farsley Celtic, Hinckley United will field a first team in tonight's Rollaston Cup game with Holwell Sports. (7.45pm)

Manager Dean Thomas was initially planning to use a sprinkling of first team players along with squad members and some youth teamers in the fixture as part of a mixed team, but he has opted to field a strong side with Saturday in serious doubt.

The game at the Greene King Stadium will kick off at 7.45pm. Admission is via the turnstile with the main bar open from 6pm. Come down and watch Manchester United v AC Milann on the big screen.

Admission to the match is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Farsley's fixture tonight was again postponed with the Football Conference. Yesterday, the Administrators of Farsley Celtic FC and the consortium attempting to broker a deal with the Administrators again failed to reach any agreement and as a consequence the fixture between Harrogate Town and Farsley Celtic scheduled for tonight was postponed.

Upon instructions from the Administrators that the club are unable to fulfil another fixture, this now means that Farsley Celtic face three charges in relation to Football Conference Rule 8.6.

Due to the seriousness caused by this latest breach, the Board of the Football Conference will be discussing this as a matter of urgency.

Should Saturday's game be off, Hinckley United are planning a midweek friendly at the club. Please check www.hinckleyunited.com for details on all of the above as and when they are available.
